Derby County will finish their pre-season games programme ahead of the 2023/24 Sky Bet League One campaign with a friendly clash against Premier League newcomers Sheffield United at Pride Park Stadium (3pm kick-off).
Team News
Striker Conor Washington and forward Tom Barkhuizen are in line to feature against the Blades after returning to training this week. Washington has not featured for Derby in pre-season following his recent move from Rotherham United after needing to complete his rehabilitation from a knee injury, while Barkhuizen injured his calf in the opening pre-season run-out at Matlock at the start of July.
Defender Callum Elder (hip) and attacking midfielder Louie Sibley (calf) are expecting to return to training at some stage next week so as a result will not be involved this weekend.
