David McGoldrick was crowned as the Derby County Supporters' Club Player of the Year for the 2022/23 season on Tuesday night.
The striker was presented with the award at Pride Park Stadium as part of the Supporters’ Club's Annual End of Season Dinner.
Head Coach Paul Warne, his coaching staff and Derby’s first-team squad were all in attendance at the annual event, as well as owner David Clowes and Chief Executive Officer Stephen Pearce.
Over the course of the evening they conducted a number of presentations before McGoldrick was named as the Supporters' Club’s star man this term.
Each branch of the Supporters' Club cast their vote on who they deemed to be Derby’s top performer this season on the pitch and McGoldrick, who has netted 25 goals in all competitions with two games left to play in Sky Bet League One, was the overwhelming winner.
Defender Craig Forsyth was also presented with an award for his long service after recently hitting the milestone of ten years since he began his association with the club.
Following the presentations, Derby’s players spent time talking to supporters, as well as posing for photographs and signing autographs, and offering their thanks for the backing from the stands during the season.
