Derby County duo Jason Knight and Eiran Cashin have been selected on a list of the 21 brightest young talents in the EFL.
Sky Sports and the 'Not The Top 20 Podcast' have teamed up to create EFL 21 Under 21 - a one hour show on Sky Sports Football listing the EFL’s 21 best players aged 21 or under, who have come through an EFL Academy, which will air at 6pm on Friday 6th February.
It's the second consecutive year that midfielder Knight has found himself on the list as he was selected in early 2022 alongside vice Captain Max Bird and former Ram Festy Ebosele.
Cashin, however, has found himself selected for the first time and joins a well established group of previous nominees that includes the likes of Jude Bellingham, Jarrod Bowen, James Maddison, Ollie Watkins, Harry Maguire and many other of the country’s top talents graduating through the EFL.
Midfielder Knight has appeared 145 times for Derby since making his senior bow in the 2019/20 campaign, featuring on 25 occasions this term, while defender Cashin has made 48 appearances at senior level for the club, of which 30 have come in the current campaign.
The one-hour show will be hosted by Not The Top 20’s George Elek and Ali Maxwell, as they analyse most of the 21 players with selected clips and analysis.
Players not featured in the one hour show will still be covered with specific videos on skysports.com and on Sky Sports social media channels.
