Team News

Defender James Chester (calf) is continuing to recover well and is hoping to re-join training within the next couple of weeks.

On-loan West Ham United goalkeeper Joseph Anang (arm) remains unavailable for the trip to the Brewers.

Richie Barker's View

Assistant Head Coach Richie Barker faced the media on Thursday afternoon to preview the trip to Burton - and he also sat down with RamsTV.

He said: "It’s as local as it gets for us in this division and two very different football clubs that have gone in different directions. I’m old enough to remember Burton Albion as a non-league club so I have huge admiration for how they’ve gone through the pyramid - they did it the correct way.

"It will be a really difficult fixture. As a group of staff we’ve not been very successful there in the last few years and I know the football club haven’t either. It’s not something we will be taking lightly and we also know when you go into a local derby, form goes out of the window."

From The Dressing Room

The versatile Korey Smith spoke to RamsTV ahead of the clash at the Pirelli Stadium.

He said: "The fact it's a local derby is going to make the game even tougher. They work hard and have a lot of big and powerful players up the pitch - we've done a lot of work on them this week.

"We've got to be up for it, keep working hard and stay together. The fans can see we are moving in the right direction and we've got to start hunting people down - that's our aim."

Match Officials

Geoff Eltringham will take charge of Saturday's game between the Rams and the Brewers.

Adrian Waters and Andrew Aylott will be his assistants whilst Robert Lewis is on Fourth Official duties.

Eltringham has been the man in the middle for just seven matches so far this season - two of which coming being in Sky Bet League One.

He's handed out 24 yellow cards, one red card and awarded four penalties across those seven games.

Rams On The Road

Ahead of each away game this season we'll be running a feature via RamsTV called 'Rams On The Road'.

In this instalment, we take a look at the Rams' local neighbours, Burton Albion.

Ticket Information

An allocation of just over 1,500 tickets were made available for Rams fans and they have completely sold out.

Supporters without a ticket are advised not to travel as they will not be granted entry to the Pirelli Stadium.
