Derby County supporters have the chance to bid to own one of three signed ‘One Club. One City. We Are Derby.’ shirts worn by the first-team squad during pre-season ahead of the 2022/23 campaign.
The shirts were worn by the Rams' players before the arrival of this year’s official kit, which is on sale from 8am on Thursday 6th October, both online at dcfcmegastore.co.uk and in the DCFCMegastore at Pride Park Stadium.
The temporary kit worn in the pre-season friendlies represents a real piece of Derby County history, with only twenty shirts produced.
Bids will be placed as part of a silent auction and they will be accepted via an online form until 12th October.
Fans will also have the chance to win one of the shirts through a series of matchday giveaways, subscriber promotions and through a text donation platform set up by Derby County Community Trust throughout October.
As part of the ‘One Club’ philosophy, all proceeds from the sales will be donated to Derby County Community Trust, who are planning projects to counteract the growing cost of living this winter.
Simon Carnall, Head of Community at the Community Trust, said: “These game-worn shirts from the pre-season of 2022-23 represent a pivotal time in our football club’s history, and we’re thrilled to be able to make them available for fans to own.
“We’re acutely aware of the challenges our fans and participants are facing this winter, so we’re working hard to react and make a difference. All donations will help us to help as many people as we can.”
