Derby County will discover their Carabao Cup Round Two opponents on Wednesday night.
Derby progressed to Round Two following a 2-1 victory at League Two side Mansfield Town on Tuesday evening and will be ball number SIX in the Northern Section of the draw.
The EFL have confirmed the draw for Round Two will take place live on Sky Sports following the conclusion of Sheffield Wednesday Vs Sunderland AFC Round One clash.
Sky Sports’ new Carabao Cup presenter for 2022/23, Mark Chapman, will host the draw with former Sheffield Wednesday striker Clinton Morrison and ex-Sunderland defender Michael Gray selecting the ties.
The 13 Premier League clubs not competing in European competitions enter the Carabao Cup in Round Two alongside Burnley and Watford from the Sky Bet Championship. The Carabao Cup remains regionalised in the early rounds with the draw split into a southern and northern section until Round Three.
All Round Two ties will take place week commencing 22nd August and a confirmed match date and ticket pricing will be confirmed as soon as possible.
