Derby County’s Under-18s completed the double over East Midlands neighbours Nottingham Forest with a 1-0 away win on Saturday afternoon.

Adam Robinson’s side, who went into the Under-18 Premier League - North fixture at the Reds’ Academy following back-to-back away defeats at Leeds United and Everton, picked up all three points courtesy of Dajaune Brown’s second half strike.

Derby were 3-2 winners over the Reds at Moor Farm Training Ground in January as they stormed back from two goals down to pick up all three points.

In a tight contest across the East Midlands in the return fixture, Brown struck with 76 minutes played to secure victory for the Rams to round off a run of three successive away fixtures.

Forest’s Pharrell Johnson was sent off in added time for the hosts as they pushed for a late equaliser, with Robinson’s side holding firm.

Derby are now up to fourth in the league table and host Wolverhampton Wanderers at Moor Farm in their next league outing on Saturday 26th February (11am kick-off).
