Derby County’s Under-23s will be looking to start 2022 in the same manner that they concluded 2021 in Premier League 2 - Division 1 when they host Liverpool on Monday night.
The Under-23s will face the Reds at Loughborough University Stadium (7pm kick-off) and dcfc.co.uk has brought together all the key information you will need to know ahead of the game.
Team News...
Pat Lyons will be hoping to have a strong squad to call upon after over five weeks since their last Premier League 2 - Division 1 match.
First-team quintet Louie Sibley, Jack Stretton, Kornell McDonald, Dylan Williams and Louie Watson stepped into the Under-23s late last year in order to get match minutes and impressed with their performances.
Midfielder
Jordan Brown and winger Tyree Wilson (knee) were sidelined going into the Christmas break and are edging closer to returning to action, while defender Harrison Solomon is back fit again after a spell out with a knee issue.

The Season So Far...
Derby's Under-23s have played 13 games so far this term in Premier League 2 - Division 1 and have registered four wins, one draw and eight defeats.
Pat Lyons' side ended 2021 with a six match unbeaten run, which included three wins and a draw in the league to lift them out of the relegation zone and into 12th place.
Their last league outing was a 3-1 home win over Chelsea on Friday 3rd December 2021.
In the Premier League Cup, the Rams are top of Group C after four matches with ten points to their name and they have already reached the knockout stages of the competition.
Liverpool's Under-23s are two points and two places above Derby in the league table and were 3-1 winners over the Rams when the sides met at their Academy back in October, which was the last time Pat Lyons' side tasted defeat.
A win for Derby would take them above the Reds and with a game in hand, after their trip to Leicester City earlier in the campaign was postponed.
