Kelle Roos starts in goal for Derby County as the Rams
face Coventry City at the Coventry Building Society Arena this afternoon in the
Sky Bet Championship (3pm kick-off).
He is one of two changes for the Rams, who are without manager Wayne Rooney on the sidelines as he misses the game through illness.
The boss will be in touch with the coaching staff throughout the 90 minutes from home with Assistant Manager Liam Rosenior overseeing the game from the touchline. We wish Wayne a speedy recovery.
Roos returns to the starting XI for the first time since his dismissal against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane in September.
The Rams’ shot stopper replaces Ryan Allsop, who misses out altogether through illness.
Derby’s only other change is enforced as Jason Knight is ruled out with a slight muscle issue and Festy Ebosele takes his place in the starting line-up.
Academy graduate and Under-23s midfielder Liam Thompson has been named on the substitute’s bench.
Coventry City: Moore, Clarke-Salter, McFadzean (C), O’Hare, Sheaf, Hyam, Gyokeres, Maatsen, Dabo, Godden, Hamer.
