Manager Wayne Rooney has made one change to the Derby County side
which beat Hull City at the MKM Stadium on Wednesday night for this afternoon’s
Sky Bet Championship clash against Middlesbrough (3pm kick-off).
The only switch comes in defence as the experienced Craig Forsyth replaces Lee Buchanan on the left hand side.
Sam Baldock and Phil Jagielka are set to make their home debuts for the visit of Neil Warnock’s Boro side.
Baldock, who netted on his full debut against the Tigers in midweek, will start in attack, whilst Jagielka, whose experience shone through during Wednesday night’s win, also makes his first competitive start at Pride Park Stadium.
Curtis Davies continues to captain the side in the absence of Tom Lawrence who misses the game with a groin injury, whilst Festy Ebosele is out with a knee injury.
