Do you fancy yourself as an expert on Football Manager? Now’s your chance to prove it and represent Derby County!

As a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic the football authorities last week collectively agreed to postpone its football competitions until it is safe to resume – in an extension to the postponement of fixtures since mid-March.

To try and help to fill a gap in the football calendar during this unprecedented time, the EFL has partnered with SI Games to stage the Football Manager Virtual Cup.

The competition, which will take place later this month, will be a straight knock-out using the Football Manager 20 match simulator and played online.

The entire tournament will take place in the virtual world of Football Manager, with each participating club represented by a ‘Virtual Manager’.

Over 50 clubs from across the EFL, including Derby County, have signed up – and we’re looking for a supporter to represent the Rams on the big stage as the club’s ‘Virtual Manager’.

Some key information is as follows:

* The Tournament is ‘open to all’. Football Manager 20 is rated ‘PEGI 3’ which means suitable for all ages.

* You need to be a Football Manager 20 player – and this tournament will be played on the PC/Mac version.

* We’re looking for someone who rates themselves as a Football Manager 20 player – have you got what it takes?
