Over 31,000 tickets have already been eagerly snapped up for Derby County’s Emirates FA Cup 5th Round home tie against Premier League giants Manchester United next week.
Derby will welcome the Red Devils to Pride Park Stadium on Thursday 5th March (7:45pm kick-off) and club officials are encouraging all supporters to make plans for an early arrival in order to savour the unique atmosphere of a special cup clash under the floodlights.
As if it wasn’t enough of a mouth-watering game with a place in the Quarter Finals up for grabs, an exciting sub-plot will see Derby captain Wayne Rooney come up against his former club. The 34-year-old played 559 times for the Premier League giants between 2004-2017 and is their all-time leading goal scorer with 253 goals in all competitions.
With limited availability following yesterday’s general sale, the clock’s ticking for supporters who’ve not yet secured their ticket.
