Derby County Under-23s goalkeeper Josh Barnes has joined Vanarama National League North outfit Farsley Celtic on loan.
The 22-year-old shot-stopper has linked up with Adam Lakeland’s side on initial month-long loan deal which will run until 29th February.
Barnes has made one appearance for Derby’s Under-23s this season in Premier League 2 - Division 1 but has also been an unused substitute on several occasions.
The custodian has gained experience in recent seasons during loan spells at Mickleover Sports, Bedworth United and Eastleigh.
In other Under-23s news, goalkeeper Matt Yates has returned from his loan spell at AFC Telford.
Yates joined the Bucks on a youth loan deal in October and made first-team 12 appearances during his time with the National League North side.
In addition, former Solihull Moors Academy left-back Ethan Sephton, who last season had a trial at Premier League side Burnley, has joined Derby’s Under-23s - while Aston Villa forward Rushian Hepburn-Murphy has also arrived on loan for the rest of the season and will link up with the Under-23s.
