Derby County Community Trust run Holiday Coaching across six Derbyshire venues over each school holiday.
The latest October Half Term is no exception to that rule and youngsters on courses at Ripley Leisure Centre and Belper Centre had a great surprise when members of Derby County's first-team squad came to join in their sessions.
Jayden Bogle and Krystian Bielik dropped into the Ripley session on Monday afternoon to see what skills the children had been practicing, joined in their game situations and answered their questions before signing some autographs.
On Tuesday, it was the youngsters at Belper Leisure Centre who had some special guests with Duane Holmes and Matt Clarke joining the teams who had been training during the day.
Danny Tomlinson, Community Coach at the Community Trust, said: "Having the first-team players down at the holiday sessions is a great way to make the kids day. We've got some huge Derby County fans and so getting to meet their idols makes it such a good experience for them."
