Derby County Under-23s are set to face Bristol City Under-23s in their final Premier League Cup group game having already secured their place in the next round.
Darren Wassall’s side will host the Robins at Loughborough University Stadium (kick-off: 1pm) and here, dcfc.co.uk has gathered all the information you will need ahead of cup clash.
THE STORY SO FAR…
The Rams guaranteed at least a second placed finish in Group F in their last Premier League Cup meeting when they beat leaders and current champions Aston Villa,2-1 at Halesowen Town for their third consecutive victory in the competition.
Goals from Josh Shonibare and Alex Babos handed Villa their first conceded goals of the competition and meant Derby will move on to the round of 16.
In the reverse fixture against Bristol City, the Rams ran out as 4-1 winners with goals coming from Jacob Butterfield, Max Hunt, Kyle McAllister and Jauvan Splatt in his debut for the Under-23s past former Rams goalkeeper Frank Fielding.
Bristol pulled one back in stoppage time through a converted penalty by Jens Hegeler.
HOW TO FOLLOW THE ACTION…
