With two League games down, Derby County will now turn their attention to the Carabao Cup and a midweek trip to face Sky Bet League 2 side Oldham Athletic.
The Rams are facing the Latics for the first time since 2013 and dcfc.co.uk has gathered all the information you need ahead of the clash with the Frankie Bunn’s side…
WHAT’S THE LATEST TEAM NEWS
Frank Lampard has hinted that changes will be made to his starting XI that travels to Oldham Athletic on Tuesday night.
The Rams’ boss will certainly still be without Curtis Davies, who remains ruled out with a hamstring problem.
Tom Huddlestone, David Nugent and Marcus Olsson are also still injured. That aside, though, and Lampard could opt to look at other members of his squad in this Cup fixture.
WHAT WAS SAID AHEAD OF THE TRIP TO OLDHAM?
Speaking to RamsTV ahead of the clash with Oldham, Frank Lampard said: “When a team from leagues above come to play you then, of course, you try and play your game.
“I’m sure there will be a bit more attention on the game to them and they are going to want to beat us. It’s the same for both teams, we are wanting a result ourselves.
“We can, we treat it with full respect. We know a cup run is good for the club, where it can potentially take us through to play Premier League teams and see really where we are at. We give it everything to try and win, as you should do, and who knows if you get on a good run.
“It’s a cup game that generates interest and the further you can get in it, the better for our confidence. You want to win games, stay in these cup games so again we approach it with the right attitude and try and win it.”

WHAT HAPPENED LAST TIME AT BOUNDARY PARK?
OLDHAM ATHLETIC 0-1 DERBY COUNTY
Saturday 24th February, 2013
Derby County squeezed into the Capital One Cup second round with a 1-0 victory at Oldham Athletic when these two sides last met in August 2013.
Then a League One side, Oldham created early chances, with Adam Rooney and Jonson Clarke-Harris both missing the target from close-range.
But Derby hit the bar through a Michael Jacobs header and it was Jacobs who grabbed what proved to be the winner after 20 minutes, sweeping in from six yards after a left-wing cross by Conor Sammon.
Oldham goalkeeper Mark Oxley made a flying save from Jeff Hendrick before Rams shot-stopper Lee Grant denied Clarke-Harris and Cristian Montano either side of half-time.
