Gary Rowett has named the same starting XI that began the 2-0 East Midlands derby victory over Nottingham Forest last Sunday for today’s meeting with Sheffield Wednesday, kick-off: 3pm.
The only change in the entire matchday squad comes on the substitutes bench as Bradley Johnson returns following his one-match suspension to replace Sam Winnall, who is ineligible to face his parent club.
That goes for Jacob Butterfield too, who will not be able to feature against the Rams at Pride Park Stadium this afternoon.
Notably, Tom Huddlestone will make his 400th career start in today’s game.
Former Derby loanee Barry Bannan stars for the visitors this afternoon, whilst another former Ram, David Jones, is named amongst the substitutes.
Derby County: Carson, Wisdom, Keogh (C), Davies, Forsyth; Huddlestone, Ledley; Russell, Vydra, Lawrence; Nugent
Substitutes: Mitchell, Martin, Baird, Johnson, Pearce, Weimann, Thorne
Sheffield Wednesday: Westwood,
Hunt, Lee, Fox, Fletcher, Bannan, Loovens (C), Hooper, Lees, Reach, Wallace
