Derby County’s Under-23s and Under-18s maintained their 100 per cent pre-season records with comfortable victories.
Darren Wassall’s Under-23s stepped up their 2017/18 preparations by travelling to Jubilee Stadium to face Vanarama National League South side Gloucester City on Saturday.
The Rams ran out 3-1 winners to record their fourth pre-season victory.
Luke Thomas bagged a brace against the side he had a loan spell with last season, whilst Emil Riis Jakobsen bagged a late third and his third goal in as many games.
On Friday afternoon, Derby’s Under-18s recorded a heavy win.
Justin Walker and Rory Delap’s side defeated Morecambe 5-1 at the Training Centre in partnership with the University of Derby.
Both age groups return to action next week.
The Rams’ Under-23s face Barnsley on Tuesday afternoon, whilst the Under-18s will travel to face Arsenal in what will, without a doubt, be their toughest test yet.
