Rams help remember their fallen heroes.
Players from Derby County and Wolverhampton Wanderers’ have taken part in the reading of a special World War Poem ahead of today’s Sky Bet Championship fixture at the iPro Stadium (12:15pm kick-off), on Remembrance Weekend.
Head Coach Steve McClaren, goalkeeper Lee Grant, defender Jake Buxton and midfielder Will Hughes recited the poem for Sky Sports, which will be shown prior to the live screening of the clash between Derby and Wolves on Sky Sports 1 HD today.
The reading of 'Why Do I Wear A Poppy' by Anne Starr can be viewed right here on dcfc.co.uk and falls in line with Derby taking part in a number of events to commemorate those that fought for their country in the war, including the unveiling of a permanent memorial plaque at the iPro Stadium this morning.
