Robinson On Target As Derby Come Back From Two Goals Down At Birmingham
Pictured here is former Derby County striker Theo Robinson celebrating his equalising goal in a 2-2 draw at Birmingham City in March 2012.
Erik Huseklepp opened the scoring midway through the first half for the home side, before a strike early in the second-half strike from Marlon King doubled their advantage.
But Derby, winless in six going into the game and without even a goal in their previous four, staged a remarkable comeback to claim a point across the Midlands.
Two goals in five minutes from recalled pair Steven Davies and Theo Robinson got them back on level terms.
Davies headed home a cross from substitute Ben Davies to bring the Rams back into the game.
Then, minutes later, Robinson blasted home to equalise from Paul Green’s pass.
Derby, managed by Nigel Clough, finished the 2011/12 season in 12th place in the Sky Bet Championship table.
