Fresh from scoring his first goal for Derby County on Wednesday night, Kasey Palmer will make his maiden start for the club against Reading at the Madejski Stadium this afternoon (3pm kick-off).
It’s one of two changes that Gary Rowett has made to his starting eleven from the side that drew 2-2 with Leeds United at Pride Park Stadium in midweek.
Palmer comes in for Matej Vydra, who misses out due to a groin injury, whilst Cameron Jerome replaces David Nugent up front.
Nugent, who has been nursing a back complaint in the last few days, reverts to the bench, and he’ll be joined by George Thorne, who returns to the matchday squad after a two-game absence.
